Why this working group?
- Sharing best practices / discussing problems encountered,
- Safeguarding the health of employees,
- Valuing the fact that industrialists in Northern Alsace take care of their employees.
Objectives ?
- Preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs),
- Improving productivity,
- Improving the quality of life at work,
- Reduce indirect costs: absenteeism, turnover…
- Challenging and helping each other among network members,
- Raise awareness on ergonomic recommendations and principles.

Inter-Company Gemba Walks

Starting from a business issue (e.g. improving the flow of raw materials in the company, setting up a new production line or reorganising production…), 10 to 15 people from different companies and occupying various functions (company heads, production manager, lean manager…) meet for half a day to challenge the host company with a project and/or help it to identify solutions/paths for improvement in relation to its issue.
Achievements :
November 27, 2019 : structuring and automation of material flows and kitting for the new heat pump production line (BDR THERMEA).
March 12, 2020 : optimisation of workflow and production at the manual edgebanding workstation (BÜRSTNER).
